The May walk day was again blessed with perfect weather. Seven of the group met at Circular Quay and caught the harbour ferry to Double Bay wharf.
The walk then took the group via Blackburn Gardens, the Wolseley Road loop of Point Piper and back to Rose Bay for morning tea. From here the route took the group past the seaplane wharf, along New South Head road and up ‘heart break hill’ before veering off to Vaucluse Road. Neilson Park was the venue for lunch.
The group continued via Wentworth Road and Fitzwilliam Road to Parsley Bay, crossing the small inlet on the wooden suspension bridge. It was then on to Watson’s Bay going past the Vaucluse sailing club and people enjoying the day at one of the several cafes in the area.
The 2.15pm ferry took everyone back to Circular Quay, all having had a pleasurable day with great friends.
