First it was the ferry from Circular Quay to Woolwich then in the bus and up to Hunters Hill. From here it was on foot for the eight walkers. The group wound their way around Hunters Hill High School and up across Fig Tree Bridge, the sixth in our attempt to complete the 7 Bridges walk. We moved around Linley Point and Burns Bay before walking the perimeter of St Ignatius School ‘s extensive grounds and heading down to Tambourine Bay. There were lovely views of the harbour and across to the city, palatial homes, both new and old and wonderful established gardens full of early blooming blossom trees, camellias and magnolias. The group continued on through Longueville and Northwood before reaching Gore Creek Reserve where we had lunch. As it was already 2.00pm we decided to head to the train at Wollstonecraft and head off in the direction of our various homes. Perfect weather, good friends, including Doug, made for another great day.
