A strange weather day for walking due to the smoke haze from the bush fires.
Along the Way:
- Morning tea stop in a local café at the end of all the shopping area.
- Interesting toilet stop in Myer. Hope the men all enjoyed the ladies lingerie!
- Walked down through the park, noted some additions being carried out and a café there.
- Walked past some interesting buildings and shop fronts, some were art deco period.
- Continued to the lookout point where many of the sculptures in November are located.
- A very nice couple from England obliged us by taking our group photo.
- The views towards the beach, to the next headland and out to sea were almost totally obscured by the smoke haze.
- We walked past the murals along the beach front making our artistic comments.
- Continued up through some streets behind the shops before doubling back parallel to the beach front.
- Decided to call it a day because of the smoke so stopped for lunch about 12.30 pm at a café at Bondi Beach.
- Bus at 1.40pm back to Bondi Junction station and then trains to our home destinations.
